Featherdown History

Featherdown opened in the fall of 2005 solely to provide quality instruction in a family atmosphere.   We function mainly as a lesson and competition barn, but the interests and experiences of the operators provide its’ students with a broad range of opportunities related to equines. It is our main goal to obtain the best possible performance from our horses with full understanding of their emotional, physical and educational capabilities in a caring professional environment.  The philosophy of our teaching comes from years of association with educational facilities, and while we are a private barn, we have chosen to maintain these standards in our program.
