Team riding provides individuals with the chance to compete in a friendly, educational atmosphere at a level with riders equal in strength and ability.  Privately owned horses are not a requirement to participate, all that is needed are proper show clothes and a commitment to a certain number of competitions both at home and away.  Featherdown is home base to two very competitive equitation teams, which offers opportunities to both high school and college students.

The Greenway Team, competing in the nation-wide Interscholastic Equitation Association, trains at Featherdown, with Mehdi Kazemi and Julie Wright as their coaches. The team qualified both squads for Zone Finals, and the Middle School rode to the Zone 3 Championship.  Greenway sent both individual and team riders to the Nationals competition in 2011.
